Naoe Mihashi (三橋 尚江 Mihashi Naoe) is the mother of Ren Mihashi, whom Ren lives with. She gets him up in the morning when he sleeps in. She eloped with her husband, Reiichi Mihashi, and that is why they lived in Creaker Villa for a while.
Background[]
Naoe lost her father at a young age, and her mother passed away when she was a senior. While studying at university, she met Reiichi, but his father was not in favor of their marriage due to Naoe's independent living. Despite this, they eloped and started living together in Naoe's apartment.
However, their financial situation was not good as Reiichi was unable to find a job. Naoe was unexpectedly pregnant, and the couple had disagreements about how to proceed. Ultimately, Reiichi decided to stay at home and become a house husband.
At the time of moving to Creakers Villa, Naoe was still in her late twenties. After giving birth to Ren, Naoe took three months of leave and resumed her studies. However, the expenses for school fees, transportation, and other related costs were high, so she applied for scholarships to support their finances. Despite this, their primary spending was on Naoe's college expenses, which ate up most of their money.

Mrs. Mihashi bears a striking resemblance to her son, Ren, or rather Ren bears a striking resemblance to her. She possesses short, light brown hair that has a slight peachish tone to it. She has pronounced cheekbones and is of a light complexion; with light brown eyes and thin eyebrows. She appears to be around 162 cm, as she is shorter then Maria who is a few cm taller then Ren who is 165 cm (at his debut). She is normally dressed in T-shirts, shirts, and pants, and wears a dress-suit to work. She has an almost identical embarrassed face, and other facial expressions, as her son and it is shown that she also has a similar personality.

Etymology[]
- The name Naoe means "esteem, furthermore, still, yet" (尚) (nao) and "bay, inlet" (江) (e).
- Naoe's surname Mihashi means "three" (三) (mi) and "bridge" (橋) (hashi).
